Nearly thirty years after its world premiere at Gloucester Stage Company, Israel Horovitz's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play NORTH SHORE FISH presents a stark take on the local fish industry and remains relevant. Director Robert Walsh and the fine ensemble cast of seven women and two men inhabit the working class townies who struggle to perpetuate a dying way of life, the only life they've ever known, in this riveting production.

The Round Barn Theatre has announced its next year's season three months earlier than ever before. 'We have aggressively surveyed our subscribers and patrons since the beginning of the year to determine their choices for shows throughout the nine month season,' said Artistic Director Jeremy Littlejohn, 'We have dubbed the resulting season 'Incredible' to describe the diversity of choices that make up the 2014 season.'

The New Group launches its 2013-2014 Off-Broadway season with the New York premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner Beth Henley's The Jacksonian, arriving in Fall 2013. Directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls, this production features Ed Harris, Glenne Headly, Amy Madigan and Bill Pullman. The Jacksonian was first produced at the Geffen Playhouse in 2012. In Winter 2014, as the second production in the company's season, The New Group delivers the world premiere of Thomas Bradshaw's Intimacy, directed by Scott Elliott. Julio Botti's ZOHO Music debut, TANGO NOSTALGIAS, introduces a fresh new voice to the nuevo tango movement pioneered decades ago by Astor Piazzolla and Pablo Ziegler, Piazzolla's longtime pianist and a prolific composer and producer in his own right. For this coming out party for the young Argentinian saxophonist, an instrument not normally associated with tango music, Ziegler has re-arranged some of his most potent compositions specifically with Botti's soaring soprano horn in mind.
