For the first time in Ogunquit Playhouse history, the season has been extended past Columbus Day weekend to October 24. Now is the perfect time to see the multi Tony Award winning Broadway musical Chicago, which is receiving rave reviews from the press for its 'stellar casting,' 'sensational staging' and 'killer choreography.' This record-breaking smash hit stars Ogunquit favorite Sally Struthers, as Matron 'Mama' Morton, keeper of the jailhouse keys and George Dvorsky as the slick lawyer, Billy Flynn. Chicago also stars Broadway veteran Angie Schworer as housewife turned murderess Roxie Hart and Broadway's Rachelle Rak as the seductive night club singer and double murderess, Velma Kelly. Tony-Award winner Paul Kreppel also stars as Amos (aka Mr. Cellophane), Roxie's husband who agrees to take the blame for her violent crime.
