Investigation Discovery's captivating series STOLEN VOICES, BURIED SECRETS returns Monday, December 5 at 10 PM ET for a thirteen-episode second season of murder mysteries retold through the lens of the victims' fictionalized, first-person perspectives. Earlier in 2011, season one of STOLEN VOICES became Investigation Discovery's second series to break the 1.0 household mark. BRIDGING TV & THEATRE: Jackson Hurst & DROP DEAD DIVA - Plus, TREE OF LIFE, BIRD OF THE AIR & More
by Pat Cerasaro - Sep 4, 2011

Today we are kicking off the male-centric portion of our ongoing series of interviews with the stars of Lifetime's DROP DEAD DIVA with the heartthrob of the show and Jane's former fiancee in her past life, legal eagle Grayson, played by the dashing and suave Jackson Hurst. In addition to talking all about Season 3 of DROP DEAD DIVA and the future for Jane and Grayson - as well as the hiccups and roadblocks in his relationship with Deb, before, and, now, Jane, that have cropped up so precipitously along the way - we also analyze the various guest stars on the show over the seasons - everyone from Kathy Griffin to Samuel L. Jackson to Elliot Gould to Liza Minnelli and more! In addition, Hurst and I also discuss his past and future stage and screen roles and his experiences on sets and backstage - including a thorough discussion of working with director Terrence Malick on THE TREE OF LIFE and his starring role in the forthcoming September release, A BIRD OF THE AIR, by CHINATOWN scribe Robert Towne - as well as Hurst's own favorite films and ultimate career aspirations - plus much, much more!

BWW Interviews: Idina Menzel Set to Take to the Western Sky at Red Rocks
by Erin Privratsky - Jul 17, 2011

Tony Award-winning actress Idina Menzel is performing at famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on July 17, backed by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Marvin Hamlisch. It's part of an 18-month concert tour that has zig-zagged the singer across the United States from Los Angeles to New York (and soon overseas to the United Kingdom), placing her in front of the nation's best symphony orchestras. Idina recently took some time to speak to me about her upcoming concert and her approach to performing.

Review - Voca People: White Noise
by Ben Peltz - Jul 13, 2011

They look a little like Blue Man Group, they sound a little like Toxic Audio and they talk a lot like Andy Kaufman and Carol Kane playing Latka and Simka on Taxi, but while Voca People might give the appearance of being a bit too tourist trappy for we jaded New York theatre types, it's the kind of family friendly, good clean fun that's legitimately clever, catchly and often downright adorable.
