On Monday, November 16, Silver Hill Hospital will hold its sixth annual fall Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. This year's Giving Hope Gala will honor renowned psychologist Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., and former patient and longtime Silver Hill Hospital supporter Jonny Podell. Comedian Colin Quinn will serve as the evening's Master of Ceremonies.

Palo Alto Players held its third annual Season Announcement party on January 31, unveiling the shows for its 2015-16 season - as well as a new logo! Managing Director Diana Lynn Wiley and Artistic Director Patrick Klein worked with Joey McDaniel to create the new public face of Palo Alto Players. "Joey is a great friend of Palo Alto Players," said Wiley. "Audience members would recognize him from his role as Igor in last season's Young Frankenstein, and he's also playing Uncle Fester in our upcoming production of The Addams Family. Plácido Domingo, LA Opera's Eli and Edythe Broad General Director, has announced the company's 2015/16 season. This will be the 30th season presented by the company, created by Mr. Domingo in collaboration with Richard Seaver Music Director James Conlon and President and CEOChristopher Koelsch. The company's 30th anniversary season will include six mainstage productions and two concerts at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, with a total of 40 performances taking place in that venue, as well as 13 performances presented elsewhere through the company's Off Grand initiative. Following its world premiere, Rupert will tour to Washington D.C. for five performances between 12-15 March 2014 as part of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts WORLD STAGES: International Theatre Festival.
