Guilford, Maine

Jane Rozelle revisits the past and crafts a fascinating story of the lives of early settlers. It vividly describes how the settlers met, raised their families, endured trials and enjoyed life.

"Roots and Branches" flows from the early 1800 Hanson and Rozelle families to the joining of Jane to her husband Lloyd and their continued life through the years to 2015. Their life's trails took lots of twist and turns, but always they gave the credit to the Lord, for restoration, comfort and rejoicing. All of their family is discussed as a very big part of their life with thankfulness for each other.

Through "Roots and Branches," author Rozelle hopes that the readers will be reminded of the value of their lives and that they will count their blessings. It encourages readers to think of their past and the trail they have travelled to motivate them to strive hard and get the best out of life.
