Musical Theatre West brings a "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins to the Carpenter Performing Arts Center July 7-23.  Due to an overwhelming demand, MTW has added an additional and final performance on Sunday, July 23, 6:00 pm.  Practically perfect in every way, it's a high flying fun filled adventure for the young and young at heart.  Based on the books by P.L. The Menier Chocolate Factory today has announced the full company for their brand new production of Sue Townsend's The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 ¾ - The Musical which opens in Adrian's 50th birthday year.

'Monsoon Wedding,' the new musical based on Mira Nair's acclaimed 2001 movie, has been showered with praise at Berkeley Repertory Theatre in Berkeley, Calif. Karen D'Souza of the San Jose Mercury News writes: 'You are swept up' by its 'swirling typhoon of sound and color.' This Indian musical has curried such favor with its audiences that it's been extended through July 16.

Music Theater Works (formerly Light Opera Works) presents the Leonard Bernstein classic, CANDIDE, based on Voltaire's satire on the follies of the human race, at Cahn Auditorium in Evanston, June 3 through 11. A 24-piece orchestra accompanies the well-known songs "Glitter and Be Gay," "The Best of All Possible Worlds" and "Make Our Garden Grow."

"Rainbows & Ribbons" a new show by Ross Hewitt will return by popular demand on Saturday, May 20th at 5:00 pm at Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46thStreet, NYC. This again is a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids and ALL proceeds will go the the organization.
