Dayton Playhouse YouTheatre is thrilled to present their production of the Broadway classic 'Guys & Dolls'! This 'fable of Broadway', a sentimental favorite, is based on 'The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown' and 'Blood Pressure', 2 short stories by Damon Runyon, and also uses characters from other Runyon short stories, most notably 'Pick A Winner.' Set in New York City, this oddball romantic comedy soars with the spirit of Broadway as it introduces us to a cast of vivid characters: Sarah Brown, the upright but uptight 'mission doll;' Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler; Adelaide, the chronically ill nightclub performer; and Nathan Detroit, desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating crap game.
