For decades, The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) has presented summer Saturday night family entertainment featuring old favorites in many popular genres, tribute bands, and occasional Christian rock. But this year, OGCMA is making a bold, unprecedented choice in presenting the first Christian rap artists ever to appear in The Great Auditorium. Two of the most popular, hit-making, award-winning rap artists, Lecrae and Andy Mineo, will strut their stuff there on Saturday, July 28, at 7:00 pm. The Auditorium is located at Pilgrim and Ocean Pathways in Ocean Grove, NJ. As athletes and coaches prepare to take the stage during sports' biggest awards week, Gatorade honors two high school coaches - Wendell Phillips Academy's Troy McAllister and Dillard's Marcia Pinder - with the 2018 Gatorade Coaching Excellence Award. On July 17, McAllister and Pinder, along with the 2018 Gatorade Athlete of the Year nominees, will be honored at the Athlete of the Year Dinner in Los Angeles, California. In addition to this, they will all walk the red carpet at the 2018 ESPYS with some of the most iconic figures in sports.

Keys N Krates' ode to classic R&B delivers a healthy dose of electronic soul on “Music To My Ears,” featuring fellow Canadian and Grammy-nominated vocalist Tory Lanez. Taken from the Toronto trio's debut album Cura, dynamic strings and reverberant bass provide a joyous backbone to Lanez's uplifting hook. Today the official music video for “Music To My Ears” premieres on THE FADER. Directed by Nathan Boey, the humorous visual follows a puppet version Tory Lanez navigating a series of dates, soundtracked by puppet versions of Keys N Krates.

Premium pay television network EPIX® has announced the 16 fighters who will be facing off with one another for the championship belt on the revival of boxing franchise series The Contender this fall. The Theater at the 14th Street Y continues to honor the edgy, diverse, and rich history of innovative culture-making in the East Village with the 2018-2019 Season. The Season kicks-off on September 5, 2018 and runs through May 2019. All productions are chosen through a submission process and are co-presented by the Theater at the 14th Street Y. Hundreds of artists apply every year to join the programming and have artistic discourse over a chosen theme.

On June 25, The Resident Acting Company (www.racnyc.org), a new troupe drawn from the performing ensemble of The Pearl Theatre Company, will present a staged reading of 'The Big Night' (1928) by humorist Dawn Powell, a harsh, biting comedy about a woman whose husband has been fired from an advertising agency.  The play was the author's masterpiece but failed on Broadway in a production of The Group Theatre. The version to be offered is a restoration by Michael Sexton from the author's original notes and drafts.  It retains some of the Group Theatre's 'improvements' but includes the author's original ending.  The reading will be at 7:00 PM at The Players Club, 16 Gramercy Park South, directed by Bradford Cover, Artistic Director of the troupe.

But the silverware's wrong, the radio's on the fritz, her sister Jasmine is drinking, her husband Dayton isn't helping, her daughter Keisha is a typical teenager, and her brother Tyrone might not show up at all!

Page 73 announces its 20th Anniversary Season. The season will begin in October 2018 with the world premiere production of CATCH AS CATCH CAN, written by Mia Chung (You For Me For You) and directed by Ken Rus Schmoll (Judy, Grounded). Performances begin on Monday, October 22 at the New Ohio Theatre for a limited run through Saturday, November 17.

As one of the nation's leading professional theaters and recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director) has a well-earned reputation for launching both performers and shows to Broadway. Since their inception in 1996, the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre have ignited the careers of many notable performers, all of whom attended high school in New Jersey.  Among the early nominees and winners are Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables), Tony Award winners Laura Benanti (Gypsy) and Nikki M.
