The party will feature a live performance of selections from the CD by Ms. Sheehan, accompanied by James McQuillen on piano and Sarah Choi on cello.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced today that multi-award-winning actor Hollis Resnik will perform the lead role in End of the Rainbow, a theatrical homage to the late, great Judy Garland. An accomplished stage, television and film actor, Resnik brings the depth of acting and musical experience to portray the iconic Garland as well as the emotional intensity and high energy that the role demands. End of the Rainbow runs from January 7 - March 9 and opens on Friday, January 10 on The Rep's Quadracci Powerhouse main stage theater.

La Jolla Playhouse, in association with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, has announced casting for its re-imagining of Henry Krieger (music) and Bill Russell's (book and lyrics) Side Show, produced in association with the Kennedy Center. Helmed by Academy Award-winning director Bill Condon and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast, the production will run in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Theatre November 5 - December 15, 2013 and will run in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater June 14 - July 13, 2014. This summer Broadway actress Sara Gettlefinger is joined by regional theatre actress Jessie Withers as well as local actors, Tessa Cavaletto, Nicole Dille, Daniel Hernandez, Terry Lewis, Kyla Martin, Harrison Mills, and Mark Rogers in the Central Valley premiere of Grey Gardens at StageWorks Fresno. Joel C. Abels directs the cult-hit film turned musical at the Dan Pessano Theatre for a limited engagement of 11 performances. A musical event that is not to be missed, Grey Gardens opens on July 26, and plays through August 11.

Amphibian Stage Productions announced today that it will present Nobody's Hart: Diana Sheehan Sings the Lyrics of Lorenz Hart this fall from September 12 through 15, 2013. The cabaret, which pays tribute to the Broadway lyricist, with music by Richard Rodgers, will be presented as additional programming outside of the company's ongoing 2013 season.

The wickedly witty musical -- written by Larry Gelbart, creator of TV's M*A*S*H -- opened on Broadway in 1989. With four-part harmonies by Cy Coleman (Sweet Charity, Barnum, The Will Rogers Follies) and lyrics by David Zippel (The Goodbye GIrl, Disney's Hercules, Disney's Mulan), City of Angels went on to win numerous honors in 1990, including the Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and The New York Drama Critics Circle awards for best musical. Opening tonight, June 7th, and running for three weekends through Sunday, June 23rd, curtain times will be at 8:00 p.m. todays and Saturdays, with 2:30 p.m. matinees offered on Sundays. All performances will be held at the Buck Creek Playhouse on the southeast-side of Indianapolis at 11150 Southeastern Avenue.
