The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written byWoody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film opened Thursday night at the St. James Theatre. At the opening night party, Karen Ziemba surprised guests by singing It Had to Be You.

Two-time Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth will play her final performance in the role on Sunday, June 26. Ms. Shields will play opposite Roger Rees, who stars as Gomez.
