The new Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is getting in the holiday spirit by celebrating the first night of Chanukah with four major events this Sunday, December 6. From DOROT on Upper East Side to Macy's and Hebro in Midtown to The Museum of Eldridge Street on Manhattan's historic Lower East Side, the city will be covered with FIDDLER cast appearances and performances to celebrate the Jewish Festival of Lights.

To life! The Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF begins performances tonight, November 20, 2015, with an official opening slated for Sunday, December 20 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). 

In a new interview with USA Today, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF choregrapher Hofesh Shechter discusses adding modern moves to the the upcoming Broadway revival of the classic musical.

The choreographer for the new Broadway production is an the Israeli-born star of the U.K.'s contemporary dance scene.

The upcoming Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof will begin performances next week, on Friday, November 20, 2015, with an official opening night on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). It will star Danny Burstein as Tevye, Jessica Hecht as Golde, Adam Dannheisser as Lazar Wolf, Adam Kantor as Motel, Alix Korey as Yente,Samantha Massell as Hodel, Melanie Mooreas Chava, Ben Rappaport as Perchik, Nick Rehberger as Fyedka, Alexandra Silber as Tzeitel and more. It's just a week before previews begin for the much-anticipated revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and the cast is ready to go.
