Casting Announced for Ruth Rendell's A JUDGEMENT IN STONE At Edinburgh's King's Theatre.

A touch of Hollywood magic comes to Baton Rouge next week as local actors step into roles made famous by some of Tinseltown's biggest names. Theatre Baton Rouge will bring a gripping courtroom drama to the stage with their production of A FEW GOOD MEN.

Each night at the Longacre Theatre, enthusiastic audiences are teleported to the mean streets of New York City in the 1960's. Telling the story of Calogero, an Italian kid coming of age in the Bronx during a turbulent time in American history. The moving story takes us through one young man's struggles to find a place somewhere between his hardworking father, Lorenzo, the son of immigrants and the glamorous pull of the mafia life and local gangster, Sonny.  

Eunice struggles to fit in. When she joins a wealthy family as their housekeeper the very reason for her awkwardness, long hidden and deeply buried, leads inexorably to a terrible tale of murder in cold blood on Valentine's Day. Ruth Rendell's brilliant plot unravels a lifetime of deceit, despair and cover-ups which, when revealed, brings a shocking revelation almost as grizzly as murder itself.

Building on the phenomenal decade-long success of The Agatha Christie Theatre Company, which sold over two million tickets and continually played to packed houses around the UK, Bill Kenwright presents a new production adapted from one of the most celebrated works of the writer often hailed as the successor to Agatha Christie, Ruth Rendell's A Judgement In Stone.

Skylight Theatre's Artistic Director Gary Grossman will be honored at Skylight's SALUTE 2016 December 4 at the Colony Theatre in Burbank. Gary has been the driving common denominator of the Skylight Theatre Company and its previous incarnations: the Katselas Theatre company and the Camelot Artists Productions before.

Now House returns with his latest version of the show, an ultra-satirical El Grande Circus de Coca Cola which sold out houses at the Skylight Theatre in Hollywood last summer. It has just reopened at the Colony in Burbank with the same cast headed by Marcelo Tubert as padre Pepe Hernandez. The family may be worthless performers but their Hispanic pride and ambition are unstoppable and drive them across the border into Burbank with the hope of full-out Hollywoodland success. It's lunacy with about a laugh every second, and under Alan Shearman's well-honed direction, the riotous troupe are bound to bring Colony audiences much pre-holiday joy through December 13.
