Big band sound transforms the Lincoln Theatre into a Duke Ellington jazz club as Arena Stage presents Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies, choreographed by and starring Maurice Hines (Broadway's Sophisticated Ladies and Uptown... It's Hot!) with direction by Charles Randolph-Wright (Arena's Guys and Dolls and Blue).

"CHARLES ADDAMS'S NEW YORK" will be featured at the Museum of the City of New York. The exhibition will include original Addams Family Works many of which served as the inspiration for the upcoming musical. From MARCH 4-MAY 16, 2010.

In anticipation of the New York Philharmonic's staged performances of György Ligeti's 1975-77 opera, 'Le Grand Macabre', and its first complete New York performances May 27-29, 2010, Music Director Alan Gilbert and Douglas Fitch - the production's director and designer - will preview the unusual aspects of this production of the fantastical, absurdist opera in an Insights Series event, Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at 6:30 p.m.
