This was a time when Civil rights laws were fought for and passed; women began to find a voice and break down barriers. Immigrant workers and Native Americans began to raised their voices. America was becoming a smarter, more aware nation-for a while. The Vietnam War became a symbol of those times. The music helped define them, and the illegal use of banned substances gave some of them the temporary courage to face the insanity head-on.
FTF Works' HEROCYCLE Opens 6/21

The Gettysburg Community Theatre will kick off their new 2013 season with the musical The Fantasticks (yes that is the way the show title is spelled), which is the world's longest running show. It will play at GCT located at 49 York Street within the first block of Lincoln Square in downtown Gettysburg January 25 and 26 at 7pm and January 26 and 27 at 2pm. Tickets are $15 reserved seating and include a wine reception.
