Pittsburgh CLO's 2013 Summer Season will be highlighted by brilliant Broadway stars, veterans of the stage and screen and accomplished recording artists.

Full casting has been announced for the Orange County engagement of FLASHDANCE - THE MUSICAL, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that defined a generation. Joining Jillian Mueller as Alex and Matthew Hydzik as Nick are Katie Webber as Tess, Kelly Felthous as Gloria, DeQuina Moore as Kiki, Jo Ann Cunningham as Hannah, David R. Gordon as Jimmy, Matthew Henerson as Harry and Christian Whelan in the role of C.C.

One of Australia's best loved ladies of musical theatre, Marina Prior, will perform her new one-woman show Leading Lady at The Regal Theatre 275 Kensington Road, Kensington, Adelaide from 23 to 25 May at 8.00pm with a 2.00pm matinee on Saturday 25 May.

FLASHDANCE-THE MUSICAL, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that defined a generation, will perform at the Majestic Theatre for eight performances June 18-23. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, March 1.

Now, Disney Theatrical Productions has confirmed that Aladdin, a new musical based on the Academy Award winning animated film, will play its pre-Broadway engagement at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre(formerly the Canon) November 13, 2013 to January 12, 2014 and will open at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre in 2014. The show will feature music by Alan Menken; lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin with a book by Beguelin. Casey Nicholaw will direct and choreograph.

The show is part of the Acts of Faith Theatre Festival and will run through February 10, 2013. Fairy tale magic hangs in the air when the mysterious Queen of the Night sends young Prince Tamino - armed only with a golden flute and a feathered friend - to rescue her lovely daughter. The Prince soon learns that nothing is as it seems and he must pass many tests before he and his beloved Princess can live happily ever after. Inspired by Mozart's masterpiece, the musical imparts a poignant message of tolerance as it weaves a web of make-believe and music.
