The theatre programme for the Manchester International Festival 2013 has been announced. MIF13 commissions include: The Machine, The Old Woman, Macbeth, The Masque of Anarchy and The Rite of Spring.

On July 29, Dick Cavett will lead areading of In the Car with Blossom and Len - A Benefit for National Alzheimer's Association. Throughout their formative years, Holly and Fern's parents, Blossom and Len, were wildly unpredictable, endearingly neurotic, and often blatantly dysfunctional. Now that they are in their eighties, they are facing the biggest emotional and financial crisis of their lives. This is a story of what can happen in our own homes. With modern medicine allowing us to live longer, we may recognize ourselves, our own families or friends - whether through one of the characters, the caregiving situation -or the black cloud of fear that one day we forget where we put the keys - and tomorrow we'll forget who we are. Ehrenkranz Artistic Director Jane Moss today announced the roster for Lincoln Center's fourth multidisciplinary White Light Festival, October 24 through November 23, 2013. The Festival's focus is music's capacity to illuminate the many dimensions of our interior lives, with a particular emphasis this year on the power of the voice. Berkeley Playhouse closes its fifth season with the Tony Award-winning musical THE WIZ. Donley's Wild West Town, the charming Old West theme park in Union, Illinois, announced today that their 2013 summer season will begin on May 18. A family-owned business, Larry Donley, his wife, Helene, and their sons, Mike and Randy, started Donley's Wild West Town in 1974 because of their passion for antiques. As their collections grew, they built the Wild West Town, Old West Saloon and Steakhouse, and Village Hall Banquets as additional attractions in McHenry County. Today, Donley's welcomes families to explore a variety of rides and shows, including three daily Wild West shows, a vintage carousel from 1951, panning for gold, Runaway Mine Cars roller coaster, pony rides, a petting zoo, and the C.P. Huntington Train. It also features cowboy roping lessons, a slingshot and archery range, a pop gun shooting gallery, kid-powered handcars, venture canoeing, the Kids Korral playground and the Streets of Yesteryear Display.

Chicago Opera Theater's production is a collaboration with Chicago's Luna Negra Dance Theater at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. According to published reports, Pamela Parsons Naughton, wife of Tony winner James Naughton, mother of Greg and Keira Naughton, and mother-in-law of Kelli O'Hara passed away earlier this month after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 66 years old.

Met Music Director James Levine will return to the Met podium for the first time in two years, conducting three operas with which he has long been associated: a new production of Verdi's final masterpiece Falstaff, Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, and Berg's Wozzeck. Met Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi will be conducting two operas in the 2013-14 season, Rossini's La Cenerentola and Puccini's Madama Butterfly.

Audee Estey, a native of Winnipeg, Canada, began teaching in the Princeton area after marrying L. Wendell "Bud"Estey, a teacher at the Lawrenceville School, in 1933. Among her hundreds of students were Meredith Monk, Douglas Dunn, Bebe Neuwirth, Diane Partington, and Jennifer Dunning. She founded Princeton Ballet Society in 1954 (now Princeton Ballet School) and the Princeton Regional Ballet Company in 1963.
