Everyman Theatre to Move into New Home During Thanksgiving Week

Everyman Theatre has announced that it will move into its new home on Fayette Street during the week of November 19, 2012. The administrative offices will be closed during this week in order to facilitate the move and then celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Moving trucks will arrive at the Charles Street location at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 20th.

CHRISTMAS BELLES Comes to Broadway Onstage, 11/30

CHRISTMAS BELLES, a delightful Holiday Comedy by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, is the next offering of the season at Broadway Onstage Live Theatre when it opens on Friday, November 30. Running Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm through December 22, the production will also be offered during two special 2pm Sunday Matinees on Sunday, December 9 and Sunday, December 16.

The Pasadena Playhouse announced the first four productions of the 2012 - 2013 season of its HOTHOUSE at The Playhouse new play development, staged reading series. The season will feature the world premiere reading of Lee Blessing's (A Walk in the Woods) A View of the Mountains starring Jane Kaczmarek and Betsy Brandt, Marsha Mason as the title role in Aunt Stossie's Coming for Five Days and Michael Arabian (Ovation nominee, Waiting for Godot) directing a new work supported by the Armenian Dramatic Arts Alliance.

Beginning this month, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) will celebrate the iconic work and enduring legacy of composer Kurt Weill with an unprecedented series of events. Opening on Friday, Oct. 19, and running through Tuesday, March 12, CCM's Kurt Weill Festival will incorporate the renowned theatre composer into a broad range of both public performances and classroom exercises.

TEN CHIMNEYS, a new comedy by Jeffrey Hatcher, starring Byron Jennings as Alfred Lunt and Carolyn McCormick as Lynn Fontanne, celebrated its Company Opening Sunday, September 30th at Sardi's. The official opening night is set for tomorrow, October 3rd. Presented by the award-winning Peccadillo Theater Company, the cast of TEN CHIMNEYS also features Charlotte Booker, Julia Bray, Lucy Martin, Michael McCarty and John Wernke. Another favorite Lord Peter Wimsey novel comes to the stage this fall as Taproot Theatre presents Dorothy L. Sayers' classic mystery, Gaudy Night. Harriet Vane's Oxford reunion is terrorized by murderous threats from the "Poison Pen," a vicious vandal determined to destroy our heroine and everything she holds dear. Is her sleuthing enough to apprehend the villain? And where is Lord Peter when she really needs him? Producing Artistic Director Scott Nolte directs Frances Limoncelli's adaptation of Gaudy Night, which opened last night, September 21 and runs through October 20.
