Violinist Karen Gomyo will join the New York Philharmonic to perform Vaughan Williams?s The Lark Ascending at the Orchestra?s 18th free, Annual Memorial Day Concert at The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, Amsterdam Avenue at 112th Street, Monday, May 25, 2009, at 8:00 p.m. David Robertson will conduct. The program also features Ives?s The Unanswered Question, Barber?s Adagio for Strings, and Messiaen?s L?Ascension.

Schultz, Executive Director), is proud to announce its third production of the 2004-2005 season: WHAT OF THE NIGHT, an American premiere based on the writings of Djuna Barnes, created for the stage by Jane Alexander, Noreen Tomassi, Birgitta Trommler, directed and choreographed by Ms. Trommler, and starring Ms. Alexander (The Great White Hope; Kramer vs. Kramer; Testament; The Sisters Rosenzweig). The production marks Trommler's New York directorial debut.
