Goodman Theatre is proud to announce the Krapp's Last Tape Artists Talk as part of the new 2010 Series connecting theater audiences with the artists who bring productions to life at the Goodman.

Music Director Alan Gilbert will conduct the New York Philharmonic in an all-Russian program, featuring Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 2, with the Russian-born pianist Yefim Bronfman as soloist, and Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2, Thursday, January 7, 2010, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, January 8, at 8:00 p.m., and Tuesday, January 12, at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Gilbert will also lead the Rachmaninoff symphony on the Rush Hour Concert, Wednesday, January 6, at 6:45 p.m.

Renowned director David McVicar makes his Met debut, and Gianandrea Noseda conducts a cast that includes Marcelo ?lvarez in his first Met performances of the heroic title role, and three singers who are celebrated interpreters of their parts: Sondra Radvanovsky as Leonora, Dolora Zajick as Azucena, and Dmitri Hvorostovsky as Count di Luna. Kwangchul Youn makes his Met role debut as Ferrando. In later performances, Marco Berti is Manrico; Hasmik Papian is Leonora; Luciana D'Intino is Azucena, ?eljko Lučić is di Luna, and Burak Bilgili is Ferrando, conducted by Riccardo Frizza. Performances run through May 8.

George Street Playhouse begins 2009 with its production of Donald Marguiles' Sight Unseen. When first presented in 1992, the play won the OBIE Award for Best New American Play, was nominated for a Drama Desk, and was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. George Street Playhouse Artistic Director will helm the production, slated to run at the New Brunswick theatre January2020 - February 15, 2009. Matthew Arkin, last seen at GSP in their production of Theresa Rebeck's The Scene, leads an ensemble including Heidi Armbruster, Christopher Curry and Kathleen McNenny.
