The New York Philharmonic will present three film music programs in May 2016: a complete screening of Charlie Chaplin's City Lights, May 19, 2016, with the Orchestra performing Chaplin's score live, conducted by Timothy Brock, who restored the score for live performance; Disney Fantasia Live in Concert, May 20-21, 2016, in honor of Fantasia's 75th anniversary, in which scenes from Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 will be screened as the Orchestra performs the music live, led by Assistant Conductor Joshua Gersen; and the Spring Gala, A John Williams Celebration, May 24, 2016, with the Orchestra performing music from the Oscar-winning film composer's iconic scores, led by David Newman, along with clips from select films.

Each book is printed on 8 x 10 white paper. Page lengths and quantity of movie posters included vary by book.
Authors of most of the series of books are Greg and Jake Lenburg.
Greg Lenburg is best known for the best-selling book, The Three Stooges Scrapbook-Updated Edition. He is also Abby Books' founder.

This event follows the two performances of the symphony in its original orchestration at the Cathedral on February 24th and 25th.

Off-Broadway's musical smash RUTHLESS! is adding Thursday performances beginning this week. Now extended into the summer, RUTHLESS! opened on July 13, 2015 to unanimous rave reviews led by Entertainment Weekly which called the show, 'Uproarious! Theatre Royal Plymouth Artistic Director Simon Stokes today announces the full cast for his production of James Graham's Monster Raving Loony. Samuel James takes the role of Screaming Lord Sutch, with Joseph Alessi, Camilla Beeput, Joanna Brookes, Jack Brown playing a number of different characters. The production opens on Wednesday 10th February, with previews from Saturday 6th February, and runs until Sat 27th February.
