Following their recent sold-out run featuring the U.S. premiere of the Peking Opera star Zhang Huoding, the China Arts and Entertainment Group (CAEG) returns to the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center with DRAGON BOAT RACING, a production of the Guangdong Song & Dance Ensemble that blends traditional Cantonese music and history with state-of-the-art theatrical artistry, from January 7-10, 2016. DRAGON BOAT RACING is written by Tang Dong with music by Du Ming, and is directed and choreographed by Zhou Liya and Han Zhen.

Disney and Cameron Mackintosh are delighted to announce additional dates for the UK and Ireland tour of their multi award-winning musical MARY POPPINS, starring Zizi Strallen as 'Mary Poppins' and Matt Lee as 'Bert'. In addition to the previously announced dates, MARY POPPINS will also play the Alhambra Theatre Bradford from 2 November - 10 December 2016 and Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff from 14 December 2016 - 14 January 2017. It's been 30 years since Claude-Michel Schönberg &Alain Boublil's phenomenon of a musical opened in London. LES MISERABLES originally opened in London at the Barbican Theatre on October 8, 1985. It transferred to the Palace Theatre on 4 December 1985 where it ran for 19 years before moving to its current home at the Queen's Theatre on 3 April 2004 where it has already played for 11 years and looks set to at least equal the run at the Palace Theatre as it is still playing to standing room only. When Les Miserables celebrated its 21st London birthday on 8 October 2006, it became the World's Longest Running Musical, surpassing the record previously held by Cats in London's West End.

Tonight, October 9, noted orchestrator and conductor Fred Barton will bring the music of Broadway and the American Songbook to the Schimmel Center at Pace University, in American Showstoppers: An Evening of Johnny Mercer. In his seventh concert at Pace, Fred Barton now brings the power of Mercer's music and lyrics front and center, with a 14-piece orchestra and a cast of 16 Broadway singers and dancers, with direction and choreography by Scott Thompson. The cast is headlined by Damon Kirsch, Tony nominee Lee Roy Reams, two time Tony nominee Vivian Reed, Nick Spangler, Tony Nominee Lauren Worsham, and Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba. The cast also features Jesse Luttrell, Sean McGibbon and Molly Pope.
