One of Tennessee Williams' finest and most famous plays, Suddenly Last Summer is a psychological southern gothic drama set on a summer evening in the garden district of New Orleans at the end of the 1930s. The poet, Sebastian Venable, is dead. And his traveling companion and cousin, Catherine Holly (Larissa Archer), believes she has witnessed 'something unspeakable'. Sebastian's mother (Joyce Henderson) secures the support of Dr. Cukrowicz (Mark Bird) from the State Psychiatric Hospital in an attempt to 'preserve the memory and reputation of her son'. As an investigation into the mysterious death of Sebastian Venable unfolds, Mrs. Venable goes to extraordinary lengths to stop Catherine from telling her version of the events last summer.

No decisions have been made, but Bob Boyett, the lead producer, tells the paper that they hope to follow Avenue Q's successful lead if business arrangements can be made.

The Glass Menagerie is a timeless, contemporary American classic. Williams' beautifully crafted, semi-autobiographical play portrays the transformation of Tom Wingfield from a St. Louis warehouse worker during the depression who can only dream of adventure, to a merchant seaman who wanders the world.
Tom's freedom comes at acost: he must escape his overbearing mother and his adoring, childlike sister, Laura, who is onlyfree to express herself with the animals in her glass menagerie. When Tom's attempt to provideLaura with a gentleman caller ends in disaster, he is forced to abandon his sister in order to save himself.Anyone who has ever loved their family, but needed to go on their own journey of discovery, will laugh and perhaps cry at this tender portrayal of an artist's life in a glass menagerie.
