3-Legged Dog (Kevin Cunningham, Artistic Director) is thrilled to present the NYC premiere of ADA/AVA, conceived by Chicago's Manual Cinema, directed by Drew Dir, and part of The Tank's Flint & Tinder, their flagship theater program. ADA/AVA begins performances on Tuesday, June 16 for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 5. Press opening is Sunday, June 21 at 3 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Saturday at 8 PM; Sunday at 3 PM. Please note there is an added performance on Monday, June 22 at 8 PM; there is no performance Tuesday, June 23. The performance schedule for the final week (6/30 - 7/5) is Tuesday - Friday at 7 PM & 9 PM; Saturday at 3 PM; Sunday at 3 PM & 7 PM is Performances are at 3LD Art and Technology Center (80 Greenwich Street, at Rector, in downtown Manhattan). Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has announced full casting for Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, which begins rehearsals today, Monday 11 May. Celebrated as one of the most important plays of the nineteenth century, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre have commissioned a new version by Torben Betts to mark the 120th Anniversary of Chekhov's original play. The Seagull will run at the iconic theatre from 19 June - 11 July.

In this skillful study of a neurotic and complex woman, Strindberg reveals the power of his dramatic conceptions and the mastery he had acquired of his craft. The play was the last of a series of Strindberg's later historical dramas that are among the most powerful plays of the kind produced in modern times. Dominica welcomed Carnival Triumph of Carnival Cruise Lines (CCL) this week as it made its inaugural call, arriving at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth. With a passenger capacity of 2,754 and crew size of 1,100, Carnival Triumph sailed to the "Nature Island" from Grenada. This is the Triumph's only scheduled call to Dominica during the 2014/2015 cruise season.
