Australian stage and screen veteran John Waters has joined the Australian cast of Fiddler on the Roof as Lazar Wolf. Producers also announced the production will play Perth's His Majesty's Theatre beginning in January 2027, completing a national tour that includes Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
Troy Sussman will lead the Australian cast of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF as Tevye, joined by Sigrid Thornton as Yente, in a national tour opening at Theatre Royal Sydney before traveling to Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth.
The full lineup of titles and artists has been revealed for Seattle Opera's 2026/27 season. An exploration of love in all its facets, the company's 63rd season features two classic operas returning to Seattle for the first time in a quarter century.
