In a move which underscores its commitment to expanding the marketplace for new music, Universal Music Group (UMG), the world's leading music company, has begun the revitalization of EMI Recorded Music with the appointment of Steve Barnett to Chairman & CEO of its Capitol Music Group.

Oh yes, the majority of us are so weary of politics and double-speak that we crave a release of laughter, that kind of gut-aching, cathartic roar that's shared with others - friends and strangers alike. Thank goodness then for the fresh and crispy comedy of The Capitol Steps, the political satire troupe comprised of former Republican and Democrat Congressional aides appearing at the Spencer Theater tonight, November 3rd at 7 p.m.

For the first time, with the playwright's input, the play will feature a woman portraying the American negotiator.
