The critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year series fifteenth season will bring 100 years of Broadway history in four incredible evenings.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts ("The Wallis") announces theater icon Barbara Cook for a single performance on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 8:00 pm in the Bram Goldsmith Theater. This event completes The Wallis' concert series of Broadway legends, which also features Patti LuPone (two sold-out performances on February 12 and 13) and Betty Buckley (January 24).

The Film Society of Lincoln Center and Dance Films Association today announced the lineup for the 41st edition of Dance on Camera. Taking place February 1-5, the dance-centric film festival returns to the Film Society for the 17th consecutive year with an exciting and diverse array of dance films, including several premieres.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency is closing their Fall 2011 season with the return engagement of the club's founder Michael Feinstein and Tony Award winning Broadway legend Barbara Cook from through December 30. To celebrate Barbara Cook's 2011 Kennedy Center Honor, the club is rolling back prices to when the club opened in 1999 for the month of December: $60 cover and no minimum. Their show will feature gems from the great American songbook by Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington and Rodgers & Hart, in addition to Broadway hits and holiday classics. Three-time Tony Award-winning scenic designer ROBIN WAGNER and esteemed costume designer LEWIS BROWN are among the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 8 at 6:30pm at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Mr. Brown was selected to receive the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Tony Award-winning scenic designer Robin Wagner will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. Sadly, Mr. Brown passed away in January of 2011. His award will be accepted by his long-time colleague and friend, Albert Wolsky, who was the recipient of the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award

Students enrolled in Theatre West Virginia and Mountain State University's Professional Training Internship Program will train with award-winning casting director Arnold Mungioli. Through Mungioli's training, the student interns will experience a professional actor's master class and a mock "cattle call" audition. The showcase event wraps up a summer of intensive training for the interns led by Pamela Chabora, performance specialist and actor with Theatre West Virginia and a faculty member at Mountain State University.
