Asolo Repertory Theatre will open its 2013-2014 season with SHOW BOAT, based on the novel by Edna Ferber, music by Jerome Kern and book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. This winner of the 1994 Tony Award for best revival features a score of timeless classics, including 'Ol' Man River, 'Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man' and 'Make Believe.' Previews will be held tonight, November 12 - 14 and the show will run from November 15 - December 29. Opening night will be held on Friday, November 15 at 8pm.

Co-authors Susan Sloate (of Mount Pleasant, SC) and Kevin Finn (of East Windsor, NJ), contend intelligence agents involved with anti-Castro Cuban groups set up a network to steal weapons from military bases and transport them to a CIA station in Miami, where they would eventually be used to invade Cuba again. These rogue groups planned to murder JFK and blame his death on a convenient patsy cleverly set up as a Communist sympathizer.

It's the news that everyone's been waiting for! Cameron Mackintosh announced today the first four cast members of his acclaimed new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece Les Miserables, which returns to Broadway beginning Saturday, March 1 at the Imperial Theatre.

In April, Errico had to depart the Classic Stage Company production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Passion to go on vocal rest. The singer has started a blog to document her experiences and continues now with her fourth post.
