Ghosts abound at some of Central Pennsylvania's theatres. But some of the ones that don't claim any spectral visitations might surprise you. In time for Halloween, here's a rundown on places where the ghosts are, and aren't, only on stage.

CARTER SHOW WORLD TOUR starring Beyonce wraps its three-night run at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, tonight just as a new date is added to its successful global run. Beyonce will return to Brooklyn for her final show of the year, at Barclays Center, on Sunday, December 22.

THE MRS. CARTER SHOW WORLD TOUR starring BEYONCE is extending its successful global run with additional dates, just confirmed. The tour dates will include performances in Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and over a dozen US cities.

The Ambassador Theatre Group's Lyceum Theatre in London hosted a special drinks reception to mark the Centenary Year of Bram Stoker's death on Friday, April 20. Celebrated Dracula historian Elizabeth Miller and members of the Stoker family flew in from the US for the event, where members of the Dracula Society, in conjunction with The Lyceum Theatre, raised a toast to the celebrated writer in the venue where he wrote the infamous Dracula. In an era when Waller had to enter some of the places he played by a side door, it would have been inhuman to resist completely the allure of white privilege. It's all on view in his song LOUNGIN' AT THE WALDORF, which contrasts the kind of freedom and looseness he could enjoy performing in Harlem with the stiffer, whiter milieu of the Waldorf Astoria. Nevertheless: "Ain't it swell doin' swell with the swells in the swellest hotel of them all? One of the strengths of the show is that it doesn't whitewash (if I may use that word here) this part of Waller's legacy.
