After an exhilarating year of celebrating the Majestic Theater' 90th Anniversary, how could anyone top the excitement and fun that was had by all at the Majestic? Well, Jeffrey W. Gabel, Founding Executive Director of the Majestic Theater can and did with his new line-up for the 2016-2017 season! Celebrate this fabulous line-up as "Mr. Majestic" announces that tickets go on sale at 12 noon on June 10 (members-still time to join) and June 17 (general public).

Skydance, a diversified media company that creates elevated, event-level entertainment for global audiences, and Alibaba Pictures, Alibaba Group's entertainment affiliate, today announced that they will join forces to finance and produce a Flying Tigers feature film for global release. It has been designated by Skydance Media and Alibaba Pictures as a high-priority development project. The screenplay will be written by Oscar-nominated writer Randall Wallace (Braveheart) and the film will be produced by David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance together with a team from Alibaba Pictures.

Discovery Channel unveiled the primetime programming slate for the 2016-2017 television season. Discovery has an ambitious lineup of 22 returning series and 20 new ones.

SAN FRANCISCO AND NEW YORK — February 18, 2016 —Ubisoft and Scholastic today announced a collaboration on a new young adult book series, Last Descendants, based on the hit video game franchise Assassin's Creed. Written for readers ages 12 and up by award-winning author Matthew J. Kirby, the first book in the “Last Descendants” series will launch simultaneously in September 2016 in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. The second book will follow in January 2017.
