On Monday, October 20th, the Theater People Podcast welcomes three time Tony nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger. Topics discussed include her Broadway debut in the popular 2005 musical THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, her critically acclaimed turns in the Broadway productions of PETER AND THE STAR CATCHER and last year's THE GLASS MENAGERIE. Philadelphia Theatre Company's continues its 40th Anniversary season with the Tony Award-nominated play Outside Mullingar by John Patrick Shanley November 28-December 28. Directed by Mary B. Robinson, the cast features Beth Dixon, David Howey, Anthony Lawton, and Kathleen McNenny.

The Playwrights Realm has selected four early-career playwrights for its 2014-15 Writing Fellows program: Michael Yates Crowley, Sarah Gancher, Emma Goidel, and Tony Meneses.

This contemporary Irish love story features local artists - and real-life married couple - Laura Gray and Jonathan Wainwright. THE GOOD FATHER performs in the Broadway Theatre Center's Studio Theatre in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward. The show runs today, September 17 - October 12, 2014.

Pan Pan Theatre Company will bring EMBERS by Samuel Beckett to BAM's Harvey Theater (651 Fulton St). Directed by Gavin Quinn with sculpture by Andrew Clancy, lighting design by Aedin Cosgrove and sound design by Jimmy Eadie, the show will run tonight, September 17-20 at 7:30 p.m.

American Opera Projects and LivelyWorks present Two Premieres and a Reunion, a special evening of music by composer Conrad Cummings tonight, September 10th, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at The National Opera Center, 330 Seventh Avenue, Manhattan.

The Joyce Theater Foundation and The National Ballet of Canada today announced the casting for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, having its New York premiere at the David H. Koch Theater at the Lincoln Center today, September 9 - 14, 2014.

Due to popular demand, American Opera Projects and LivelyWorks have added a second performance of Two Premieres and a Reunion, a special evening of music by composer Conrad Cummings Wednesday September 10th, 2014. The second performance will take place at 9:00 p.m., immediately after the initial 7:30 p.m. performance. Both performances will be held at The National Opera Center, 330 Seventh Avenue, Manhattan.

A great, big Broadway season is on its way, with fourteen productions already slated to open in the next few months. The craziness is almost upon us, but there is still plenty of time to catch up on what's been going on at Broadway's already occupied theaters . A.R. Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances, LOVE LETTERS, will have its first Broadway revival, beginning performances Saturday, September 13, 2014, at 8pm, at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41 Street).

HERE announces its 2014-2015 producing season, commencing Labor Day Weekend with the premiere of the Artistic Director production, Trade Practices, by Kristin Marting & David Evans Morris; and followed by the HERE Resident Artist productions Send for the Million Men by Joseph Silvosky and Bloowst windku by Rebecca Davis. HERE's upcoming season also includes the third annual PROTOTYPE: Opera/Theatre/ Now festival and HERE's yearly CULTUREMART festival, which gives audiences a first look at new work in process from artists in the HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP). The multidisciplinary productions in HERE's 2014-2015 season represent the culmination of commissions and developmental residencies of up to three years through HARP, and/or the Dream Music Puppetry Program.

This summer, Brooklyn-based Spectacle takes over the Theater at MAD as part of the exhibition NYC Makers: The MAD Biennial, presenting 11 unconventional programs that highlight the organization's cross-disciplinary approach and DIY ethos. A unique voice in the wave of micro-cinemas that have emerged in New York City in the past decade, Spectacle was established in 2010 with only 30 seats in its Williamsburg, Brooklyn home, and a staff made up entirely of volunteers.

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record breaking two week run in 2013, returns for a limited engagement at the Detroit Opera House, July 1 through July 13, 2014.

Principal casting has been announced for the upcoming world premiere production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. The cast will include Robert Fairchild as Jerry Mulligan, Leanne Cope as Lise Dassin, Veanne Cox as Madame Baurel, Jill Paice as Milo Davenport, Brandon Uranowitz as Adam Hochberg, and Max Von Essen as Henri Baurel.
