The French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF), New York's premiere French cultural center, is thrilled to welcome French film and theater icons Thierry Lhermitte (The French Minister, The Dinner Game) and Patrick Timsit (Pedale douce) for the U.S. Premiere of Address Unknown (Inconnu a cette adresse). Adapted for the stage by Michele Levy-Bram and directed by Delphine de Malherbe, Address Unknown will be presented on Wednesday, April 23 and Thursday, April 24 at FIAF's Florence Gould Hall.

THE LILAC MINYAN is an award winning play by Taos playwright Debora Seidman which premiered at the New Works Festival in Brooklyn, New York, in 2000. It was subsequently produced at Immigrant's Theatre Project, New York, New York, and the National Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, Massachusetts.

The Old Vic today announced its programme for Summer/Autumn 2014. The CQS Space, The Old Vic in the round, will be home to the whole season of productions, continuing after Other Desert Cities which opens this month. The plays will be performed in the round, a transformation of The Old Vic's auditorium first seen for the award-winning 2008 production of The Norman Conquests. The season of productions is supported for the fourth consecutive year by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Today, The Ground Floor: Berkeley Rep's Center for the Creation and Development of New Work announces that it has selected 18 projects from more than 30 innovative artists for its third Summer Residency Lab. This June, as part of an extraordinary laboratory for collaboration, some of the nation's most prominent and promising writers, directors, and composers will unite at the Theatre's campus in West Berkeley for an intense four-week period to live, dine, and create new plays together. Dozens more local and out-of-town actors and directors will join The Ground Floor process, bringing the number of artists involved close to 100.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has announced the availability of The National Theatre Story by Daniel Rosenthal, published by Oberon Books (London). Published to mark the National Theatre's 50th anniversary, Rosenthal's meticulously researched volume chronicles the political, architectural and artistic history of London's National Theatre, starting with its 19th-century origins through the inauguration of the National Theatre Company under Laurence Olivier at the Old Vic in 1963 up until the present day with the recent announcement of Rufus Norris as successor to Nicholas Hytner as artistic director.

Will Eno's new play The Realistic Joneses will come to Broadway in Spring of 2014 starring Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner; Academy Award and Tony Award-nominee Toni Collette (“Hostages,” “United States of Tara,” The Sixth Sense, The Wild Party), Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award-winner Michael C. Hall (“Dexter,” Chicago), Tony Award-winner Tracy Letts (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?; August: Osage County; “Homeland”), and Academy Award-winner and Gold Globe-nominee Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny; The Wrestler; Salome). The production will be directed by Obie Award-winner Sam Gold, who is currently represented by Fun Home at the Public Theater.
