Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) has just announced its sold-out production of Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical Fiorello! will transfer to Off-Broadway's East 13th Street Theater (136 East 13th Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenues), home of Classic Stage Company.

Originally published as a novel in 1927, Benighted was the first real introduction to the world of a then unknown J.B. Priestley. Now the world premiere of its stage production, adapted by Duncan Gates, will be staged at the Old Red Lion this Christmas. Following the success of the 2015 world premiere of Arthur Miller's No Villain, the Old Red Lion are now renowned for their exciting programming decisions.

Theater Schmeater has announced the beginning of a new journey with the re-telling of an old one. The Crossing, an original chamber musical, will open at The Schmee on Friday July 15th and then run on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through August 13th. 

One Eyed Man Productions in association with Hayes Theatre Co has announced the Australian premiere of the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical SIDE SHOW, due to play a strictly limited four-week season at Hayes Theatre Co from September 23. Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO) showcases the interplay of music and film with 'LACO @ the Movies: An Evening of Disney Silly Symphonies,' a program of dazzling and delightful Academy Award-winning animation created by Walt Disney Studios between 1929 and 1939, with orchestral scores performed live by Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra led by six-time Emmy award-winning composer Mark Watters, on Saturday, June 4, 2016, 7 pm, at the historic Orpheum Theatre movie palace in downtown Los Angeles. Over the last four decades, the British filmmaker Terence Davies has produced a deeply personal body of work that explores the longing inspired by movie fantasy and the intermingling of memory and history. Coinciding with the U.S. theatrical release of his latest film, Sunset Song, based on the classic Scottish novel by Lewis Grassic Gibbons, about a farming family caught in the aftermath of World War I, Museum of the Moving Image will present a complete retrospective, to date, of the films of Terence Davies from May 7 through 22, 2016. Davies will appear in person at the Museum on two occasions: on May 8 with The Long Day Closes and on May 10 with a preview screening of Sunset Song, accompanied by the film's star Agyness Deyn.
