Two New York premieres will be featured in a concert by the Temple University Symphony Orchestra on Friday, April 9, 2010, at 8 p.m. in Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall (Broadway at 65th St., Manhattan). One of the works, Ansel Adams: America (in its New York premiere) by jazz great Dave Brubeck and his son, Chris, will feature 100 projected images by the eminent American photographer. The all-American program also includes works by Bill Cunliffe (also a New York premiere), Samuel Barber, and Leonard Bernstein.

Today, Curator Michael Green announced the 2010 line up for the 24th annual High Performance Rodeo, Calgary's International Festival of the Arts. The popular festival runs January 7 to 31, 2010 at various venues throughout Calgary and will feature a collection of the boldest and the brightest artists from the realms of theatre, dance, comedy and music. Green was also pleased to announce the return of His Excellency Jean-Daniel Lafond as the Patron of the High Performance Rodeo.

The producers of WEST SIDE STORY have confirmed full casting for the new Broadway production.

Andrea Martin, Michael Cumpsty and Tony Yazbeck have been cast in On the Town, the opening production of New York City Center's 2008-09 Encores! season, running November 19 - 23. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will present a four week 'American Originals' festival, celebrating music written by American and European composers while living in America. The festival opens with a program of works by Bernstein, Barber and Rachmaninov on Thursday, October 30, 2008, and concludes with the Atlanta debut of a concert-staged production of John Adams' Dr. Atomic on Sunday, November 23, 2008.

The fifth annual Fall for Dance Festival will run from September 17 - 27, 2008, showcasing 28 national and international companies and choreographers in six unique programs (four programs will be repeated).
