Peak Performances, the renowned series at Montclair State University that plays a key role in the global performing arts landscape by introducing major new stage productions and critical innovations in the development and presentation of contemporary theater, dance, performance art and music, has announced that its 2017-18 season will consist entirely of new works by women.

Martin Semple has been tapped to succeed Daniel L. Ritchie as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) effective July 2017.

As previously announced, Everyman Theatre presents the Baltimore/DC Premiere of Los Otros, a timely new reworking of the musical from Tony Award nominees Michael John LaChiusa (music) and Ellen Fitzhugh (book and lyrics). Even before breaking ground on their new home, IAC will welcome audiences into the existing Cybert Tire site for Rooms, a site-specific theatrical installation by the great Irish playwright Enda Walsh (May 3-28). B Street Theatre is excited to open the 2017 B3 Series Season with Lucas Hnath's The Christians.

The Los Angeles Master Chorale will present its first performances of Beethoven's powerful Missa solemnis in 13 years on its own concert series on Saturday, January 21 at 2 PM and Sunday, January 22 at 7 PM at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
