Bayou Theatre Company continues it's 2014-2015 Season "Finding the Real" with Stew's musical "Passing Strange," exploring themes of acceptance, identity, the importance of family and love, set in various parts of Europe like Amsterdam, and Berlin. The Old Globe's presentation of Kiss Me, Kate, the classic musical comedy featuring a book by Sam and Bella Spewack and an iconic score by Cole Porter, begins tonight, July 1, on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

The Old Globe presents William Shakespeare's delightful and romantic Twelfth Night, directed by Rebecca Taichman, whose production of the time-traveling Time and the Conways fascinated audiences last April, as part of the 2015 Summer Shakespeare Festival. The Old Globe engagement runs through July 26, 2015, with opening night tonight, June 27 at 8:00 p.m., in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre.

The Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham is the proud host of the 'world's biggest panto', Cinderella, this Christmas. It may only be on for five days in the run-up to Christmas but they will be playing to up to 4,500 people per performance twice a day; a prospect that celebrity cast members Paul O'Grady, Bradley Walsh and Dick & Dom are chomping at the bit for.

Rose Theatre Kingston today announces its most ambitious project to date - this autumn the Rose stage will be transformed into a battlefield for The Wars of the Roses, a gripping adaptation of four of Shakespeare's history plays, directed by Trevor Nunn. The productions will play in rep from 16 September until 31 October, with press performances for all three plays on 3 October.

Brandon Victor Dixon and Steven Pasquale will join the previously announced Sutton Foster in Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, running July 15 - 18, 2015 at New York City Center. Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) has announced the complete cast for the musical Peter Pan, its second production of the 2015 Nutmeg Summer Series. Directed by Cassie Abate, Peter Pan will star Riley Costello in the title role. Costello was recently seen as Dunlap Dewberry in Because of Winn Dixie at Arkansas Repertory Theatre and as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Costello's Broadway credits include Bye, Bye Birdie, 13: the musical, and Everyday Rapture. Performances of Peter Pan begin on June 18, 2015 and run through July 3, 2015 at Connecticut Repertory Theatre's Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre. The Sarah Siddons Society's Artistic Director, Dominic Missimi, bestowed on Jessie Mueller the organization's prestigious Actress of the Year Award in a tribute entitled SO BEAUTIFUL! last Monday, April 27 at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire.
