Two of Broadway's most endearing leading ladies-Andrea McArdle and Donna McKechnie-celebrate two of America's most beloved musical theatre composers-Stephen Sondheim and Marvin Hamlisch-at Feinstein's at the Nikko on Friday, January 18 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, January 19 (8 p.m.).

SAFEHOUSE '77 is a site-specific interactive show with a mixture of historical and pop-cultural influences in the exciting world of spy movies. The evening begins after parking in a Bank of America lot a few blocks away from the party house where Connie (Ashley Jones, decked out in high-waisted bell bottom jeans), the sister of our party host, Sharon (Katie Rediger), meets us and goes over a few rules for the evening before escorting us to the party. Just prior to entering, each guest is given an ERA YES badge, every one different in color with an animal sticker in its center. Of course, there is a purpose which soon becomes apparent once the party begins.

Pittsburgh CLO is proud to announce casting for the 27th annual production of A MUSICAL CHRISTMAS CAROL, December 7-23 at the Byham Theater. This year's production will feature lavish costumes and thrilling effects made possible by the support received from the Next Generation Capital Campaign. Professor Valerie Curtis-Newton directs an all-female cast in Maria Irene Fornes' Fefu and Her Friends. Fornes, who passed away October 31st at the age of 88, was the winner of nine Obie Awards, including the award for sustained achievement. She has been called "the most important American playwright you've never heard of," and "influential beyond measure." This iconoclast, beloved teacher and mentor to some of contemporary theatre's most exciting writers, is the subject of the new documentary The Rest I Make Up. She is considered by many to be the mother of U.S. Latinx Theatre. This year marks a national celebration of her work, Celebrando Fornes/Celebrating Fornes.

A new production of the Tony Award-winning musical, Annie opened on this day in 2012 at the Palace Theatre!

Under the intimate warmth of the Axelrod footlights, Andrea McArdle capably delivers both her trademark Broadway-belt and a comic sense of desperation.

The play will be shown from March 21, 2019 until March 24, 2019. 

Tony Award winner Bill Berloni is known as "Broadway's Dog Trainer" and has trained dogs (and cats and birds...) for many plays, movies and musicals. The Axelrod PAC welcomes Marti, one of Bill's most accomplished rescue dogs, to the cast of "Annie" as Sandy! 

The musical Annie is premiered on November 30, 2018 at the Nojesteatern in Malmo. This classical musical will captures the whole family, with beautiful music, colorful dance scenes and a moving story.

Nominated for eleven Tony awards and winner of seven, including Best Musical, this highly entertaining Broadway musical based on the famous comic strip Little Orphan Annie, was adapted to the stage by Thomas Meehan (book), Charles Strouse (music), and Martin Charnin (lyrics).

Leapin' lizards! 'Annie' is coming to the Jersey Shore! Broadway's original Annie, Andrea McArdle, will grace the Axelrod stage as Miss Hannigan from November 2-18. This new production of 'Annie' is directed and choreographed by New Jersey native Al Blackstone, whose career started on Broadway in 'Wicked' and then moved to FOX's 'So You Think You Can Dance,' for which he received a 2018 Emmy Award nomination.

The Broadway community will celebrate the life of Thomas Meehan on Monday, November 5th at 2:00 PM at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street).

An Evening with Tony Award Nominee Andrea McArdle is set for Upstairs at Vitello's in Studio City on Thursday, October 11, at 7:30, The Purple Room in Palm Springs on Friday, October 12, at 8pm, and for Martinis Above Fourth in San Diego on Saturday, October 13, at 7pm, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents.

Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including 'Tomorrow.'

Cleveland Play House (CPH) kicks off its 2018-2019 Season with the spine tingling tale of Susan Hill's The Woman in Black.  Hill's gothic ghost story, adapted for the stage by Stephen Mallatratt, will star Bradley Armacost as Arthur Kipps and Adam Wesley Brown as the Actor in the show that Daily Mail called, "A nerve-shredding experience."  Director Robin Herford will recreate his original staging from the London West End.  The American premiere of the West End Production is produced by PW Productions and Pemberley Productions.  Previews begin on September 15th, with press opening on September 21st at the Allen Theatre in Playhouse Square.
