Bradley Moore has always had a lot of theatrical projects going on since he settled in Music City a few years back. But ever since Norma Luther became the owner of Nashville's iconic Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre in early 2017 - and he became assistant artistic director - he's only gotten busier. With this summer's first musical hit (Sister Act) to his credit, his resume is growing yet again with the Barn's production of the ABBA megamusical Mamma Mia, which opens next Thursday at the eponymous red barn on Highway 100 in West Nashville.

The Ensemble for the Romantic Century has announced that the 2017-18 season, ERC's 17th, will take place at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between Dyer and 10th Avenues), beginning August 10th with Van Gogh's Ear. Opening Night is set for August 17th. This limited Off-Broadway engagement runs through September 10th only.

11th Hour Theatre Company's 12th season comes to a close with its final Next Step Concert Series performance. This time the series features a new musical by Nathan Christensen and Scott Murphy, Broadcast.  Broadcast comes to the Next Step Concert Series June 23-25. All or Nothing, the new Small Faces musical sensation, will visit the Belgrade Theatre as part of a UK tour from Thurs 4 to Sat 6 May. This will be the second UK tour for the mod musical since it opened at the Vaults Theatre in London in March 2016 which received critical acclaim and nightly standing ovations.

In the second of Alan Gilbert's final four subscription weeks as New York Philharmonic Music Director, he will lead the Orchestra in a program that highlights important artistic relationships he has cultivated during his tenure.

 The Johnny Mercer Foundation (JMF) has teamed up with  Kaufman Music Center for JMF's sixth consecutive year of the Accentuate the Positive program, which teaches elementary school students the art of songwriting and introduces them to The Great American Songbook.
