Strewth! Everyone's favourite flamin' galah, Ray Meagher, will reprise his role as outback mechanic "Bob" in the 10th anniversary celebration tour of homegrown musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert. The treasured Australian actor, who recently notched up 30 years as Home and Away's Alf Stewart, will swap Summer Bay for the Queensland stage, joining the cast of Priscilla for the musical's Brisbane run at Lyric Theatre, QPAC beginning 26th September. Over 40 artists will make their Union Avenue Opera (UAO) debut this summer during its 24th Festival Season. The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center announces the fourth annual Segal Center Film Festival on Theatre and Performance (FTP). The program includes a roster of more than 35 features, shorts, and documentaries by artists from Argentina, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, The Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, The United Kingdom, and the United States. Since the dawn of theater, even in it's most nascent forms, audiences have marveled at spectacular moments brought to life on stage.
