Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber are proud to announce the second performance in its 2016 - 2017 season of Chicago's hit musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway 2001, hosted by Keely Vasquez, is Monday, Jan. 23 at Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave in Skokie and Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the Uptown Underground, 4707 N. Broadway at 7:30 p.m.  In tribute to the original New Faces series that ran on Broadway and on film from 1934 - 1968, Porchlight Music Theatre last year created this Chicago musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway, as a showcase for the best emerging musical talent now performing on Chicago stages. 

This winter, The 5th Avenue Theatre will have Seattle adjusting its radiators with a steaming hot new production of the Richard Adler and Jerry Ross musical theater hit, The Pajama Game. With direction by 5th Avenue Theatre Producing Artistic Director Bill Berry, this sultry stunner features Bob Fosse-inspired choreography by Bob Richard and music direction by Joel Fram.

Writers in Performance is a 12-week writing and performance workshop hosted by BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, culminating in two public presentations.  Throughout the course of the workshop, talented actors, playwrights, poets and storytellers have explored writing exercises, theater games, improvisation, movement techniques, and ensemble work in a safe, creative environment. This season, the theme and title of the Writers in Performance show is 'Home.' Writers in Performance participants are diverse by design; not only in ethnicity, but by age, and experience as well, mixing professionals with students.  On Friday, December 2 & Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 7:30PM, the troupe will showcase the monologues and short scenes they have been crafting.  We are proud to have members of the BMCC student community in the production (denoted below). Going on their Third year of their smart, rowdy and hilarious monthly improv show; LPNSImprov with The MaD JaCKRaTS! takes the stage with LPNSImprov Presents: The MaD JaCKRaTS MAKIN' A MOVIE The Pumpkin Spice Everything Show on Sunday, November 20th at 7:30 p.m. at Theater 68 (5112 Lankershim Blvd. North Hollywood 91601).

For the upcoming holiday season, 4th Wall Theatre Company (formerly Stark Naked Theatre Company) brings love and laughter to Houston audiences with Shakespeare's beloved romantic comedy, Much Ado About Nothing.  Widely considered to be one of Shakespeare's best comedies, Much Ado is a delightfully hilarious and witty tale of love, friendship and intrigue.  Appropriate for all ages, this not-to-be-missed holiday treat opens on December 1st and runs through Christmas Eve.

A spectacular new production of Disney's The Little Mermaid kicks off at The 5th Avenue Theatre this holiday season. Featuring the critically acclaimed work of Director Glenn Casale, this beloved tale of a young mermaid's coming-of-age adventure is told like never before. Previously announced casting includes Seattle's own Diana Huey as Ariel and Matthew Kacergis as Prince Eric, with Broadway's Jennifer Allen as Ursula andSteven Blanchard as King Triton. Melvin Abston, Connor Russell and Jamie Torcellini join the cast as Sebastian, Flounder and Scuttle. The 5th Avenue's production will go on to play engagements in cities including Orlando, Cincinnati,Atlanta and Louisville, among others.

PREMIERES, the New York based music theater organization whose mission is 'to bring new music theater to light,' has announced the complete cast and creative teams for this season's Inner Voices, the biannual series of solo works featuring new teams of playwrights and composers. Performances began October 3rd and continue through October 29 at The TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues). Opening Night is tonight, October 13th at 8:00pm.

An amazing array of theater stars have been assembled by producer/writer/host Scott Siegel with the express purpose of singing the songs that they performed in their original Broadway productions. Decade upon decade of Broadway history  will be on glorious display on the Feinstein's/54 Below stage on October 6th at 7 PM, when a galaxy of stars from the 20th and 21st centuries return to sing the songs that made (and make) the Great White Way great.

Cleveland Play House (CPH) will honor a new class of individuals who have contributed to its vibrant history with a Hall of Fame induction ceremony and luncheon on Sunday, October 9th from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Cibreo Privato located at 1501 E. 14th Street.  The 2016 inductees will include Jonathan Bolt, a former resident company actor at CPH who also directed the world premiere of Arthur Miller's The Archbishop's Ceiling; Dean R.
