Berkeley Rep today announced that single tickets for the world premiere of the new musical Monsoon Wedding will go on sale to the general public on Monday, November 14. Monsoon Wedding will have its world premiere at Berkeley Rep's Roda Theatre next spring. Previews begin Friday, May 5, 2017 and the show runs through Sunday, June 25, 2017. August Strindberg Repertory Theatre, under the leadership of Robert Greer, is committed to production of his plays in new translations and interpretations that illuminate the plays of Sweden's national playwright, whose work remains as relevant today as when they were written. The company continues its explorations November 12 to December 3 at Gene Frankel Theatre, 24 Bond Street, presenting a double-bill of two-character plays -- 'Pariah' and 'The Stronger' -- in alternating rep with with Strindberg's Arabian Nights play, 'Abu Casem's Slippers.'
