The best of Broadway will perform for FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2017' - a lunchtime series on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 17th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 10.

This week's event will feature performances by the casts of Waitress (Betsy Wolfe, Caitlin Houlahan, Charity Angel Dawson, Drew Gehling, Dayna Jarae Dantzler, Kayla Davion, Tyrone Davis Jr, Matt DeAngelis, Law Terrell Dunford, Molly Hager), CATS (Tyler Hanes, Christine Cornish Smith, Jessica Hendy, Francesca Granell, Jonalyn Saxer, Maria Briggs, Andrew Wilson, Zachary Daniel Jones), and SPAMILTON (Tristan J. Shuler, Chris Anthony Giles, Cameron Amandus, Nicole Vanessa Ortiz, Aaron Michael Ray, Fred Barton) with special guest Billy Porter.

This July, Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

I always find it exciting to see a musical I know nothing about and FINDING NEVERLAND fits that bill. I remember watching Jennifer Hudson sing 'Neverland' on the 2014 Tony Awards and recall watching the cast perform on the NBC 'Thanksgiving Day Parade' in November, 2014. The cast included Matthew Morrison, Kelsey Grammer, Laura Michelle Kelly and Carolee Carmello. However, the Tony Awards snubbed the musical with no nominations. After seeing the show this week, I do not understand why. I found the musical absolutely wonderful and worthy of a Tony nomination for Best Musical. FUN HOME won the Tony for Best Musical in 2015 beating out SOMETHING ROTTEN!, THE VISIT, and AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. There were no nominations for FINDING NEVERLAND.

The new theater on 47th Street, which is just a block from its inspiration and main punchline, will host the show for an open engagement. The Divine Miss M misses nothing and sent the company a lovely gift to welcome them to the neighborhood.

The 62nd Annual Drama Desk Awards, hosted by Michael Urie, were held at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street) tonight, June 4th.

On Monday, June 26, 2017, Broadway Sings for Pride will premiere their 7th anniversary benefit concert in New York City at the JCC Manhattan. This milestone event will be filled with singing (from pop to Broadway), stories, special guests, and, of course, fun! The proceeds will benefit The Tyler Clementi Foundation and Orlando's Contigo Fund.
