The Oregon Shakespeare Festival wrapped up the 2016 season on October 30 with the final performances of Great Expectations, Richard II, Twelfth Night and The Yeomen of the Guard. Preparations for the 2017 season and 2017 member ticket sales are already underway. The 2017 opening weekend is February 24-26; preview performances begin February 17.

Donmar Artistic Director Josie Rourke today announced full casting for her revival of Bernard Shaw's Saint Joan. As previously announced, the production will star Gemma Arterton, alongside Matt Bardock, Richard Cant, Hadley Fraser and Elliot Levey.

Casting was announced today for the HighTide production of Al Smith's debut play Harrogate. Following acclaimed runs at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival and the Arcola Theatre, Kathryn Barker Productions today announces a UK tour of Henry Naylor's THE COLLECTOR. William Reay, who reprises his role from the Edinburgh and Arcola runs, is joined by Anna Riding and Olivia Beardsley. Michael Cabot directs the production which tours to 29 venues across the UK this autumn, starting at York Theatre Royal's Studio tonight 21 September.

The Public Theater announced complete casting today for the New York Premiere of PARTY PEOPLE by UNIVERSES (Steven Sapp, Mildred Ruiz-Sapp, and William Ruiz a.k.a Ninja. Developed and directed by Liesl Tommy with choreography by Millicent Johnnie, PARTY PEOPLE begins performances on Tuesday, November 1 and runs through Sunday, December 4, with an official press opening on Tuesday, November 15.

The world premiere of the award-winning new play The Great Divide by acclaimed new American playwright Alix Sobler runs at the Finborough Theatre, playing Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 4 September 2016 (Press Night: Monday, 5 September 2016 at 7.30pm).

 It was announced today Tony Award-Winner Cynthia Erivo and Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry will star in a special one-night-only benefit concert version of Jason Robert Brown's seminal musical, The Last Five Years, with the composer himself leading the orchestra. Produced by SubCulture and Jason Robert Brown, the evening will take place at Town Hall (123 West 43rd St), and 100% of the proceeds will benefit The Brady Center, the national organization determined to create a safer America by cutting gun deaths in half by 2025.
