Joel Ferrell, Associate Artistic Director for the Dallas Theater Center, returns to direct after previously directing Othello and Gruesome Playground Injuries for the company.

Producers of Play Like A Winner, the new musical by Erik Johnke & David Wolfson and winner of last year's NYMF Developmental Reading Award, are thrilled to announce the complete casting for this July's limited run during the 2017 New York Musical Festival (NYMF).

New York Musical Festival and 4M Productions will present the East Coast premiere of THE FOURTH MESSENGER, a contemporary Western re-imagining of the Buddha legend featuring a flawed, female Buddha figure, as part of the New York Musical Festival. The production, which begins performances on Tuesday, July 18th at The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street) includes book and lyrics by Tanya Shaffer and music and additional lyrics by Vienna Teng, and is directed by Broadway director Matt August (Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas: the Musical). Everything old is new again, and leave it to Tim Acito, writer of the 2003 off-Broadway hit Zanna, Don't, to prove that adage. The composer will premiere a brand new version of his beloved musical, appropriately called Zanna Don't (the Reboot), at Theatre Horizon for a one-night-only concert reading, part of the company's 42nd and Main Concert Series on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 7:30PM.

The festive show is being revived for the first time since it last appeared on the STNJ stage in 2003, featuring Greg Jackson in the role of Dylan Thomas. Performances begin November 30 and run through January 1 at the F.M. The hugely popular re-imagining of Charles Dickens' festive staple A Christmas Carol, starring Simon Callow and directed by Tom Cairns, will return to the Arts Theatre in London for a strictly limited season from 8 December to 7 January.
