The Playmakers have been awarded one of the Oklahoma Community Theatre Association's highest honors, the OCTA Vision award. It was given for the planning and implementation of The Playmakers' comprehensive youth theatre program. In 2006, The Playmakers won OCTA's coveted 'Community Theatre of the Year' award.
Women's Project, the 32-year-old non-profit theater dedicated to producing plays written and directed by women, will increase main stage production next season by 50%.
