Nhojj Plans 'Love is Love' College Tour

A college tour is not new for Nhojj. In 2004 he toured American colleges to promote his critically acclaimed 'Someday Peace Love & Freedom' CD. This time around there is no album to promote - just a deep rooted conviction that this is what he should do right now. In a society where homophobia still exists, Nhojj wants to share strength, hope, and pride with Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) youth everywhere. The message is - Love is a gift from God, and regardless of sexual orientation 'Love Is Love.'

The 2010 New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks, Presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer, will open with a free joint concert featuring the New York Philharmonic, conducted by Andrey Boreyko, and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, conducted by its music director, Long Yu, with pianist Lang Lang as one of the soloists, Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at 8:00 p.m., on the Great Lawn in Central Park.

A.C.T. Appoints Ellen Richard as Executive Director

The American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Board of Trustees announced the appointment of Ellen Richard as executive director following an international search. Richard is a respected theater administrator, whose accomplished career has included such positions as executive director of Second Stage Theatre and managing director of Roundabout Theatre Company.

Filled with suspense, horror and the struggle to discover one's true identity, MTV puts a modern spin on one of the most popular classic films of the eighties, MGM's 'Teen Wolf'. The reinvention comes alive as a sexy thriller set against the drama of high school life with a forbidden, romantic love story at its core. Additionally, MTV steers a fearless path with the greenlight of the North American adaptation of the U.K. drama series 'Skins'. Both series greenlights were announced today by MTV President of Programming, Tony DiSanto. From the creator of 'Criminal Minds,' Jeff Davis, and the executive producers of 'The 4400,' Rene Echevarria and 'Prison Break,' Marty Adelstein, 'Teen Wolf' will commence production this summer with 12 one-hour episodes. 'Skins' will also begin production this summer with 10 one-hour episodes.

GREEN MAN by Don Nigro is a re-telling of the medieval poem "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" set during the American Civil War. It is the story of Gavin, a wounded Union soldier who wanders lost and delirious into an abandoned chapel and soon finds himself caught in a deadly and mysterious game of seduction, transgression and murder. Brad Raimondo and Pageant Wagon Productions will present the play, directed by Mr. Raimondo, at FRIGID New York 2010. FRIGID New York 2010 runs February 24th through March 7th. GREEN MAN will play five performances: Feb 25th at 11pm, Feb 28th at 6:30pm, March 1st at 8pm, March 5th at 6:30pm and March 6th at 2pm. All performances will be at the Red Room, located on the third floor of 85 East 4th Street, between 2nd Avenue & Bowery.
