Auditions for the St. Louis premiere of Andrew Lippa's THE WILD PARTY will be held on two successive Monday nights, October 12 and 19, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. at the Washington University South Campus (formerly CBC High School), 6501 Clayton Road, just east of Big Bend, in the second floor theatre. This is NOT on the Washington University main campus. Performers need to come to only one of the dates. The show will run April 22-May 15, 2010. Two Obie Award-winning theater companies -- The Play Company and Ma-Yi Theater -- collaborate to present the New York premiere of Lloyd Suh's new play AMERICAN HWANGAP, previews began May 9, prior to an official press opening tonight, May 17 Off-Broadway at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street) in Manhattan. Trip Cullman directs an ensemble cast featuring some of the country's most accomplished Asian American actors, including James Saito (TV's 'Eli Stone' and Obie winner for DURANGO), Michi Barall (Charles Mee's QUEENS BOULEVARD), Mia Katigbak (DOGEATERS), Peter Kim (THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE), and Hoon Lee (YELLOWFACE).

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is launching a national touring production of their Broadway smash hit TWELVE ANGRY MEN, starring Richard Thomas, written by Reginald Rose and directed by Scott Ellis. This is the first touring production for the not-for-profit organization.
