Circle Players' 2017-18 season continues with the Nashville premiere of the Tim Larson-directed production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the epic musical based upon Victor Hugo's tale of hope, love and passion, which runs October 27-November 12 at the Z. Alexander Looby Theatre in Nashville.

Various artists from the worlds of country, rock, blues, bluegrass and gospel are all banding together to aid victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. A few weeks ago, after the landfall of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, country singer John Berry was scheduled for a writing appointment in Nashville with award-winning songwriter Chuck Jones. The two went into the session with no intentions but walked away with the newly-penned song, 'All Come Together.'

No matter if she's a good witch on Broadway, a sassy press secretary on TV or a show-stopping singer on stage, Tony- and Emmy Award-winner Kristin Chenoweth is always absolutely mesmerizing.

As previously announced, following two sold-out runs in Los Angeles and a sold-out pop-up engagement in NYC, Cruel Intentions: The Musical, the stage adaptation of Roger Kumble's 1999 cult hit film, created by Jordan Ross, Lindsey Rosin and Roger Kumble, will return to New York for a limited engagement at (le) Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street) beginning Friday, November 17, 2017.

Today's subject Tracy Lynn Olivera is currently living her theatre life onstage at Signature Theatre as the stalwart countess Charlotte in Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's Tony Award-winning musical, A Little Night Music. The production runs through October 8th in Signature's Max Theatre.

Following her strut down the red carpet at the Grammy Awards and her newest release "Blue Again," soul-blues star Janiva Magness will be debuting her new material live on her Blue Again Tour. Magness will demonstrate how her robust and soulful voice can seamlessly shift from swampy blues to funky soul as she performs songs from her 2017 Grammy nominated album and 12th release Love Wins Again as well as her entire repertoire on Saturday August 12 in Pawling, NY at Daryl's House at 8 PM.

Following a two-year residency at The Museum of Modern Art, New York (2014 - 2016), this ambitious project stages over 14 of Harrell's performances including one of the earliest works he created in 1999, right through to now in a changing, daily programme of live performances.

The much-beloved musical DREAMGIRLS, which delves into the backstage drama of fictional girl group The Dreams, is coming to the Hobby, with Zonya Love tackling the role of Effie White, this April.

Today's subject has been living her theatre life onstage and on screen for 40 years now. You might know Roz Ryan from the hit television show Amen, but for the past eighteen years she has been playing the keeper of the keys Matron “Mama” Morton in the hit musical Chicago either on Broadway or on tour.
