Uno show giovane e frizzante, fatto di interazioni tra i due performer in scena con gli ospiti ed il pubblico, durante il quale verranno condivisi aneddoti divertenti, i ricordi, la fatica, le speranze, le delusioni, i momenti toccanti e le vittorie della vita di un giovane performer che si sta immergendo sempre piu nel mondo dello spettacolo.
Sul palco con Daniele e Flavio troveremo, in qualita di ospiti, Linda Gorini ed Elisa Siragusano. Attesissima e anche la partecipazione straordinaria di Simona Patitucci, attualmente alle prese con la 'sua' creatura Fantasmi a Roma (che debuttera in forma concertistica il 21 ottobre al Teatro Olimpico, qui la notizia).

Riflettiamo su cosa vuol dire essere critico. Da un anno a questa parte, il Manifesto del Critico Teatrale e diventato la mia Bibbia. Di giorno in giorno, di recensione in recensione, cerco di attenermi ai punti elencati dall'americano Chris Caggiano: prima, per amore del teatro musicale tendevo a tacere sui difetti degli spettacoli che avevo davanti; adesso, proprio in virtu di quell'amore per il teatro musicale, mi sono reso conto che questo atteggiamento non e salutare. Il critico - specialmente in un periodo in cui la gente sceglie oculatamente cosa andare a vedere a teatro - deve fungere da guida per i suoi lettori e, pur non mettendo da parte il cuore, dev'essere onesto nei loro confronti.
Dopo un primo showcase tenuto quest'estate e qualche data estiva di try-out, L'Ultima Strega - frutto dello sforzo produttivo di GiuliaEventi - debutta al Teatro Brancaccio, tentando il contatto con il pubblico romano (che, si sa, non e certo uno dei piu facili da conquistare!). Cominciamo dalle definizioni. Nel corso del tempo, in locandina, sono apparse varie diciture: pop musical, il musical - pop drama, musical drama... ma, in fin dei conti, cos'e L'Ultima Strega? Sicuramente, non e un musical (almeno, non in senso stretto). Abbandonando le solite disquisizioni scolastiche sulla distinzione piu o meno netta delle varie declinazioni di teatro musicale, il musical - nell'accezione piu americana del termine - e una produzione teatrale, televisiva o cinematografica che fonde dialogo, canto e danza per raccontare una storia convincente in modo convincente.
