The cast is made up of Diane and Hal Brierley Resident Acting Company Members Ace Anderson (Inherit the Wind, Public Works Dallas The Tempest, A Christmas Carol 2016) as Hud and Tiana Kaye Johnson (HOOD: The Robin Hood Musical Adventure, ELECTRA, A CHRISTMAS CAROL 2016) as Sheila. In addition, the cast includes Monique Abry as Crissy, Kia Nicole Boyer as Jeanie, Jaime Cepero (NBC'S SMASH) as Claude, Ayanna Edwards (DREAMGIRLS) as Dionne, Chris Peluso (London's MISS SAIGON, Broadway's WICKED) as Berger and Christopher Llewyn Ramirez (HOOD: The Robin Hood Musical Adventure) as Woof. The Tribe is made up of Kevin Curtis, Joey Donoian, Kelsey Leigh Ervi, Kyle Igneczi, Valton Jackson, Quintin Jones Jr., Laura Lites, Taylor Nash, Mayte Natalio and Gabrielle Reyes (BELLA: An American Tall Tale, Dreamgirls).

Press opening is Thursday, August 3rd at 8:00pm. A celebration of 50 years since the 1967 "Summer of Love", HAIR will inspire audiences to "let the sun shine in" and stand up for what they believe in. This rousing rock musical will be led by Jeff Award Winners Brenda Didier (Director) and Eugene Dizon (Musical Director) with choreography by Christopher Carter.  A talented cast of Chicago artists featuring Matt Keffer and Liam Quealy will take the stage in this celebration of love, life, and freedom.

Music Director Riccardo Muti returns in April to lead the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) in three weeks of subscription concerts.  Muti and the CSO conclude the CSO's season-long presentation of Beethoven's piano concertos in a performance of the Piano Concerto No. 5 (Emperor) with Radu Lupu as soloist followed by a rare performance of A Symphony to Dante's Divine Comedy by Liszt (April 27-29 ). Muti's residency with the CSO culminates with performances of the complete cycle of symphonies by Johannes Brahms (May 4-9 and May 11-13). During his residency, Muti also leads the Civic Orchestra of Chicago in a free, open rehearsal on April 30.
