Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney FANTASIA, the ground-breaking hit show inspired by the 1940 Disney animation must end its strictly limited London run on 30 September. The Vaults' latest immersive show has been casting a spell over audiences this summer with its unique installations, theatrical performances and technical wizardry bringing to life the world's most iconic classical music in a modern reimagining of Fantasia.

CSO Music Director Rossen Milanov and the Columbus Symphony open the 2018-19 Masterworks season with a concert inspired by the 1940 Disney classic, Fantasia. Bach's majestic music, as seen through the eyes of legendary conductor Stokowski, and Wagner's terrifying "Ride of the Valkyries" are paired with the rich orchestral palettes of Dukas' The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Strauss' iconic Also Sprach Zarathustra, made famous by the film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

When Fantasia first landed on the scene in 1940, it was a game-changing piece for the world of entertainment as it was the first ever commercial film presented in stereophonic sound. Now, The Vaults present a new production of immersive theatre celebrating the animated flick in the shape of Sound and Sorcery Celebrating Disney Fantasia.

Production images are today released for The Vaults' highly anticipated immersive show, Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney FANTASIA ahead of its opening night this evening. In their latest production inspired by the ground-breaking 1940 Disney animation, The Vaults presents a reimagining of the many worlds of Fantasia featuring a Grecian Disco Palace, pre-historic volcanic wasteland, mirrored waterfall, human fishtank, and mystical forest among the sights. The production runs at the Vaults beneath Waterloo until 30 September.

On Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade will host its annual black-tie "Wild About Kids" Gala, with the exciting theme "A Night in Havana," at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. For the second production in their 47th annual season of professional summer theatre, Cortland Repertory Theatre invites audiences to dust off those leisure suits and platform shoes for the musical stage version of the iconic 1970's Paramount/SRO film Saturday Night Fever. Based on a story by Nik Cohn, the movie was adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood in collaboration with Bill Oaks, with the North American version written by Sean Cercone and David Abbinati.  The production features the Grammy Award winning songs by the Bee Gees.

Celebrating the musical phenomenon that developed in the early 50's on the Carolina Coasts, Carolina Shag will feature upbeat beach music from artists such as The Embers, The Tams, Chairmen of the Board, The Drifters. Carolina Shag, a genre sometimes known as the "swing of the South", promises all the lighthearted fun of a lively summer night at the beach, perfect for experts and rookies.
